I am a first generation college graduate and a product of the community college system.  I earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Cal Poly Pomona and a master’s in counseling from CSU San Bernardino.  Previously, I worked in Admissions & Outreach at Cal Poly Pomona and served as a counselor for the STEM Grant Initiative in partnership with Riverside City College.

I am a first-generation college student and I am dedicated in helping students achieve his or her academic goals. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine and a master’s in educational counseling from the University of Southern California. I worked at Santa Ana College for the Center for Teacher Education and ENGAGE in STEM program. I previously worked in outreach with the USC Trio program where I advised high school students on the UC, CSU, and private school admissions, financial aid, and test preparation.

I am a Cypress College STEM Program Alumni and a recent graduate from CSU Fullerton. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I am now completing my Multi-Subject Teaching Credential at CSU Long Beach. I currently teach an after-school STEAM class for 3rd – 5th graders. My ultimate goal is to become an upper grade elementary teacher with a major emphasis on STEM Education!

I am a Cypress College Alumni. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. I am completing my Masters of Science in Higher Education from California State University, Fullerton and will graduate this Spring. I am passionate to see non-traditional students succeed and create generational impacts.
